Did you know…
Over $2 billion in foreign currency is sitting unused in Canadian homes and businesses. From coins and bills to pennies and loose change, these forgotten treasures often collect dust in jars, drawers, and boxes. While they may hold sentimental value, they can also make a real difference for children in need.
How It Works
Through the Currency for Kids program, unused foreign currency from travels and vacations can be donated to help fund programs for children and youth. In partnership with Global Coin Solutions, the currency is repatriated, converted to Canadian dollars, and directed to vital services for underprivileged kids. Even coins that can’t be repatriated are recycled, with proceeds going toward these programs.
What We Accept
We welcome all foreign notes and coins, as well as Canadian pennies. If it can be converted or recycled, it can help support children in need!
Imagine the impact if everyone gave their unused foreign currency—it could transform the lives of children and youth in our communities!
