Who We Are
Since 1953, the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton has worked alongside children, youth and families to help ensure every child is safe, supported and connected to the people and communities that matter most.
As one of two child protection agencies serving Hamilton, we are committed to protecting children, strengthening families and creating brighter futures. We work collaboratively with families, caregivers, Indigenous communities, Black and other racialized communities, schools, and community organizations to provide culturally responsive services, build on family strengths, and help children thrive whenever it is safe to do so.
Our Catholic heritage continues to inspire our commitment to compassion, dignity, social justice and service. Today, we proudly serve children, youth and families of all faiths, cultures, identities and backgrounds. We are committed to advancing equity, reconciliation, inclusion and belonging by listening to the voices of children, families and communities and working in partnership to address systemic barriers.
This section provides more information about our leadership, governance, strategic priorities, accountability and the impact we are making together with our staff, foster and kinship caregivers, volunteers, and community partners.
