Ms. Singhal currently attends McMaster University and pursuing an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a minor in Business. She is active in the McMaster community by participating in student council, volunteering, and student advocacy. Ms. Singhal is a member of the Young People’s Advisory Council (YPAC) at the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, the Youth Ambassador for the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Society, and currently sits on the Youth Advisory Council for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton. In her role on YPAC, she worked on projects such as “Journey to Zero” and the “TELUS Mobility for Good Program.” Recently, Ms. Singhal received the McCall MacBain International Fellowship providing her with an opportunity to live abroad for one full year. Being a former youth in care, Ms. Singhal looks forward to bringing her voice and perspective to the Board table.
